For me I enjoy it. It was slow to start especially without much of how the creature appears in her life. But towards the end it became clear. The monster represented the lost of her husband and her fear of not being able to protect her daughter. The lady at the park was a Godsend. She provided her with hope. The CPS lady again represented her fear of not being capable of caring for her child. The reconciliation with her own mother provided her with closure of her own insecurities growing up. When the monster appears after the guy from CPS shows up, she realized that she needs to face the fear straight on. Instead of showing her and appear being strong for her daughter, she was willing to sacrifice herself to save her child. However, the daughter provided the way to combat the fear head on. The clue was given earlier when her child asked her if she missed her husband. Moral if the story: we must confront our fears head on and let it eat at us piece by piece.

Best series in a long time.kept my interest from the beginning.
