I am 4 episodes in and let's just say- if you're rural folk you're going to like this. The character dev is pretty good! Transitions, soundtrack and a few other devices might seem cliche, or even tacky, at first but if you stick to it, again, you're going to like it- especially if you're Canadian and understand Quebec.
