I received the book on Christmas and it has been sitting there waiting for me to read.ever since. Just the cover of her book brings me back to my childhood. I decided to listen on audible while I did my nightly walk. When I started listening to her story and there was so many things we had in common. I had no idea that her book would make me laugh and cry in the same moment. I also experience tinnitus and did the receipt routine she did at the five and dime but my selected place was at Ralph’s in LA. 50 years ago. Tinnitus sucks and I am still learning how to live with it. I never knew she had this too. It’s awful and I know how she feels. She is as pleasant as rain on a lazy day. I didnt want to walk home as fast as I usually do because I was so mesmerized by her story. I will walk to her book tomorrow night and can’t wait to hear some more. This is a must read or audible for Barbra Streisand fans. (It’s actually her narrating her book) I am so glad she wrote it and to find out she is a regular person with the same emotions that we all experience. She just has a much better voice than most. Thank you Barbra for sharing your story.
