This is honestly the worst book that I have ever read. It is so bad I finished it just to see if there would ever be any redeeming feature.
This author is hyper narcissistic to the end. The title would lead one to believe that the book would be about the Murdaugh family but they are only afterthoughts as the author talks about her feeling, thoughts and self aggrandizement.
She constantly takes credit for bringing down the Murdaughs, ignoring the facts that police and other authorities have played ‘just’ a small part.
She demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the legal system. And makes assumptions that have little basis in fact.
What is really galling is her sexist, bigoted and hateful portrayal of any ( and seemly every) male or institution she has contact with.
