Was reluctant at first to watch this Go Go Squid series, however i got curious with CTF, and going along with that, it never bothered me to even look at who the actors are, then came along this serious looking, sour-faced guy but with a confident walk that says "don't waste my time" and then cue in Nian Nian, obviously they are the stars of the show, and then i went along episode after episode until the end... Captivated me with the usual sour faced guys meets sweet and demure girl, crossed an unexpected path and never looked back again plus the facts about CTF that gave ideas about cybersecurity and how easily privacy can be trespassed...

Really got intrigued with the story and specially the twist and at the same time the romance being placed in the appropriate moments... Not too sweet to become like a teenage-chessy flick but mature enough to feel the drama behind. Equally, both the lead actor and actress has successfully portrayed their character. Both are strong-willed yet compassionate.

For me it's a show that broadcasts that people with power, in this case "gods" while not all, those in the bride of habaek is too arrogant, ungrateful, selfish beings. Habaek for his growth as a future king has got it in his mind that everything he says should be followed, everything he thinks about is right. For Bi Ryeom and Moo Ra each has issues to deal with and more often than not resorts to using their power in a world where "magic" does not exist. It irks to think that when it comes to Hoyee Sin, none of the 3 ever tried to understand his plight but is only concerned about his threat to their realm or to themselve. I mean, what kind of gods would they be when they are vulnerable to the 7 deadly sins? And Yoon So yah? While she becomes meek and demure in front of Habaek, she's this fierce, independent but sensible "psychiatrist" in front of others. Honestly, the best parts of this show is when Yoon So Yah and Hoyee have a conversation. While romantically they're not to be together, their conversation is intellectual unlike with Habaek. Or simply just blame it on translation. Ugh!
