Life In A... Metro is an one-time feel-good film for a monsoon evening. It boasts of a melodic music album and an ensemble cast with interconnected relationships telling their own tales of (Bolly-dramatic) love. The film can be appreciated for a few here-and-there pieces of advice on love, life, and lost time.
Special Comment: The climax is one-part heart-warming and one-part heart-breaking. Alas, the ending doesn't give the viewer much room to breathe and to feel the emotions fully. The Pritam-trio of musicians come off as quite annoying with their high-note, high-feels song when a more melancholic tune would have been a relief at the very end.
