I've been on I Racing for a little more than six months. Within three months I moved up to A class, and another two months to reach a 4.92 safety rating in A. However, due to my lack of knowledge with computers as I am in my mid sixties, I have been registered into races when I logged off the computer over a half dozen times, so I seemed to have lost in total over 500 I racing points. Didn't figure it out until I spoke with one of my young employees who knows computers, and understands I racing more than I. Besides that, my only frustration is being involved in incidents unrelated to myself because I seem to be a magnet for being the one car who gets hit be someone spinning out of control or bouncing off the wall and it has extremely dampened my enthusiasm wanting to continue. Additionally, the safety rating has little to do with a persons skill or safety of driving, rather his/her bad luck for being near by when others have an issue. Just in my last two races at Kansas, I was 10 feet behind a car that wiggled, hit the wall, spun and even as I attempted to go left enough to clear without taking out the car to my left my right front just clipped the other car where I was was forced to pit being awarded a 4X. Then several laps later another car spins out of control again on a restart only feet in front of me and I slammed directly into that car with absolutely no place to go and collect another 4X and a visit to the pits. I finished the race in 19th place with a damaged car and was awarded a grand loss of 60 safety points. I was and still am furious over that loss of safety points why I feel that the safety point system is unrelated to ones skill level, but rather luck. Yes, we have all had these experiences, and no, I'm not looking for pity, but would love to see I racing do something about it for all of our sake. That one issue is what pisses off so many who lose the will to want to continue. It's easy for I Racing to say how we should learn to avoid the trouble cars, yeas, I would like to see that. Also, after running a perfectly clean race and take a win, or top three or five, our safety points increase by 10 or 15 points, but one bad race we can loss 60 even when we haven't created the incident???
