I enjoy this show despite some questionable acting BUT I honestly can't decide if the script is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek... The clumsiness of the exposition is mind-boggling and can ruin the first 15-20 minutes and all of the characters seem to know absolutely everything about literally the most obscure things without stopping for a breath, let alone do research. A new fact can be presented and two people in the room miraculously are experts on an ancient Tibetan civilisation (example). Every episode. It's utterly bizarre.
