I started watching Season 1, subconsciously thinking... oh, there'll be so much to criticize. But I was pleasantly surprised! Of course, the women come across as shallow and vain at times, but they're also funny and quite real in their fears and insecurities. It took some time, but I actually ended up liking Maheep. She tells it like it is, and that's a quality I admire. Seema is also very down to earth and like the girl next door. Only... I couldn't shake the feeling that Karan (Johar) seems to induce almost a fear like state in her. She comes across as very tense in his presence. The part I actually didn't like were the kids! They're all equally uninteresting... like clones of each other! Their parents were far more interesting. Anyway, I finished Season 1 and going on to Season 2!

This series is watchable for all the characters, especially the lead actress. Her expressions are so endearing, and her voice is just right. The plots may not be amazingly complex, but it's well worth a watch.

I haven't completed watching the series yet... but the daughter's expressions are so off putting... you can't feel any sympathy for that character! Also, it should have been obvious to the mother that her "little girl" was into some pretty grown up stuff!

Warning: Spoilers. You lost me in the first episode itself. Any woman who discovers something shocking on a nanny cam and wants answers, is going to keep a chokehold on said nanny! And Maya's character is an army trained captain, ffs! Yet, she goes off to "fetch a glass of water" leaving both the nanny & the cam unattended? And WHY would she confront the nanny without calling the police first? Unbelievable!

This is not a movie.. It's a poem on celluloid. An absolutely unique creation by Chetan Anand, Kaifi Azmi and Madan Mohan. I can't think of a more talented collaboration in the history of Hindi films.

This film left me feeling disappointed. As a single mother myself, I can justifiably say that not even 1/10th of a single woman & mother's struggles are actually shown! There's much more to it than the number & type of men you invite into your life...

The whole debate that's going on around the movie revolves around 'ONE SLAP'! Whether One Slap should decide the course of a marriage... Most women would have forgiven One Slap... And so on... But the whole issue is very simply explained by Amrita's character in just 1 line when she says to her husband: "I can only stay with you if I love you." Having realised that she does not love the man she now knows him to be, leaving is the only option. I can completely understand that. Hat's off to the creative team of this film for going to the very core of a woman's heart.
