This game is full of stupid abilities that ruin the arena shooter it could be.
The Dedsec faction has a spider drone that you drop on the ground, it runs all the way across the map and attaches to the face of the first enemy it tracks to. That enemy is now blinded, unable to use abilities, and unable to fight off the drone until a teammate shoots it off his face or it runs it's course. That was player gets another one to use every 30 seconds. On top of that, their abilities disable everyone else's abilities on your team, so good luck fighting them at all. It's an instant win for the team with a Dedsec agent.
The Cleaner faction gets a self-immolation ability where you light yourself on fire (taking no damage for doing that) and the surrounding area, resulting in instant kills for any enemies in the massive radius. They also get incendiary bullets, which don't deal MUCH extra damage, but still delays your already slow health regen.
On top of that, the guns are horrifically imbalanced. Shotguns are unreliable and either one-shot every enemy you shoot, or do no damage at all. The range doesn't seem to matter.. Snipers are made for quick-scoping, which isn't a real thing and turns this into a cartoonish battle of bolt actions. SMGs and Assault rifles feel great but if any enemy switches to a shotgun or a sniper you won't have a chance. Marksman rifles are pointless.
