The more I think about Judy's interview last week with the French Ambassador, the more annoyed I get. She asked him a bunch of softball questions and invited him to criticize the US. It was widely reported France's submarines would be obsolete before they were delivered. The projected contract costs were rising by the month. And the US's Pivot Toward Asia, with real strategic implications, has been discussed for a decade. France could have seen this coming. Where were the hard questions for this guy?
