I didn't realize the series was based from the All Souls Trilogy books before discovering it. The series is wonderfully done, very creative and keeps you interested. I've never been interested in witches, vampires etc but this show does it well. Nothing is too cheesy and I think the creatures are portrayed beautifully. I love the time travel parts as well. After watching the series at least 2 times, i decided to order the Trilogy and just started reading the 1st book, A Discovery of Witches. It's a awesome read and the series holds true to the book so far, some lines even word for word. In any case i highly recommend this series and also the books. Thank you, happy watching and reading =]
