What a trip! I’ve always wanted to go to space and with Andy Weir, man am I getting my kicks and then some. I love the science, but more than that, I love the heart at the core of it all. Which is a testament to the author. A tricky plot, but flawless in its execution with Andy at the helm. I was hooked from start to finish, and thoroughly enjoyed discovering Ryland Grace as he discovered himself. Beautiful, just beautiful. This book had me in a chokehold in the best possible way, leaving me with such warmth and hope when it was over. Warmth, hope, and the usual sprinkle of melancholy that I’ll never get to read it for the first time again. Top 5. Ever.
