As an artist, associating mostly with other creatives, I am used to people obsessing over colours and shades but it had never crossed my mind that a colour could be the sole subject of a whole book. Not only do I share Maggie Nelson's love for the colour blue but her writing, the directness of her poetry is brilliant.
