The movie is perfect! It isn't a girly movie, it is a well written classic that even the guys will appreciate. I have seen it countless times and honestly I would consider it my favorite movie. It is appropriate for all ages. The only possible issue with showing it to a younger audience is that you will have to explain what all is happening, because there is never an idle moment in the movie and the little ones may get lost! The story is very deep and unfolds beautifully, it follows the original classic novel fairly decently. It may not be as spot on as the BBC production, but I would argue that this adaptation is a more enjoyable watch.
