Excellent movie. Congrats to Mani Ratnam! Very authentic reproduction of Kalki's novel. All the actors performed very well. Movie was flowing sooo smoothly , no slackening at all !!! Superb Editing ! Ravi Varman took us back to Chola days !!!! Art Director Thotta Tharani recreated the beautiful palaces , forts etc etc. Graphics to the minimum. The fighting scenes are very realistic !!!! SONGS OF ARR are very apt to the situation. All songs are Top Class. ARR's BGM is really world class and it lifted up the scenes !!!! A landmark movie in Tamil Cinema! Once again Congrats to Mani Ratnam for boldly taking up this project and completing it sooo successfully ! A spl appreciation to Subhaskaran for spending so lavishly to match the magnificent Chola times on screen. After so many years we got a Gem of a movie in PS I. Hearty congrats to the whole team and all the Best for bringing out PS II in 2023 !!!
