It's the type of series that you can't help but watch, but you know its pretty weak. What I don't get is that a particular Character, who was part of the main group, dies and its not even mentioned until after the episode it happened in was aired. No sadness, no funeral, nothing. I had to Google it to find out where this character was, as last mentioned they were in hospital but still alive🙄

Having watched the original penny dreadful series, set in England, I was really looking forward to seeing this new penny dreadful and especially being able to watch the episodes back to back. What a let down. Although there were different characters having their own individual story it wasn't as gripping as the previous seasons 😔

Just watched episode 7! What the heck is going on? Have the writers run out of stories. When you watch it you will know what I mean. Still straining to hear some of the dialogue. Previous comments. Show has promise but found the audio a strain. Sound quality is not consistent.

Fantastic stories in all three installments. Watched one after another on Netflix. Great cast, amazing location, although the constant rain got a bit depressing. Some upsetting scenes when the children were involved. A must see trilogy.

I was blown away by the first season and seriously could not wait for season 2. I was a little disappointed to be honest. Although as usual the cast were amazing and the acting brilliant I felt that the wasn't as much depth to the story in this season. I will still be looking out for season 3 though.
