I originally gave The Regime five stars after the first two episodes. The sheer fatuousness of it all was well done, well written, and, well acted.
By episode 4, the series' arc had already been reached. Love declared and consummated.
Episodes 5 and 6 added nothing. If anything, it was like watching a flushed toilet that kept spiralling without completion.
If I had to base my review solely on Kate Winslet's acting and presence, I'd give The Regime a million stars.
