Flushed Away with dogs. It's basically the exact same plot; pampered pet is kicked out by competator and goes on an adventure to get home, making friends and learning life lessons along the way. I didn't get much out of it, but then I'm not the intended audience. My 8 year old niece however really enjoyed it.
