Been reading sci-fi books for over 40 years. The Forever War by Joe Haldeman was the most compelling of them all. Vast in time and scope. Hope to see it on film one day.

As always, Mr Crichton makes the story believable when he root events in science and corporate politics. Not the most enjoyable story to read. It was however very interesting indeed.

Extremely satisfying to watch if you want action, family/friend drama and a plot that, although farfetched and leave you with a lot of questions. it is definitely NOT a no-brainer. You will have to keep a steady head if you want to keep track.
