This was an amazing game with perfect replay value. The retro courses capture the nostalgia of the original Mario Karts perfectly, and the Nitro tracks are really unique and have a different feel for every single one. The Battle Mode was a traditional Mario Kart battle, but the courses let you move between every nook and cranny. The real highlights for me were in the Missions and the VS modes. The VS mode was a fully customizable racing mode, and the Mission Mode was unique to the DS version. However, the Mission Mode is the best part of the game. It gave you challenges that you complete in a time limit, or you race someone. The missions give you a ranking, which makes you want to play them over and over again. All in all, this is probably one of the best DS, and one of the best Mario Kart games. Nintendo: Please bring back Mission Mode. Final Notes: It is a perfect game with a good replay value, and other racing games could learn techniques for the game form this. 98/100
