Watch the Toby Mcguire version, its closer to the orginal comic book storyline. This movie was boring, I'm glad I never paid to see it in the movies. There also alot of skipping around in this movie, like what happy Uncle Ben's funeral? Once Peter caught up to Uncle Ben's killer, he was just too nice to him. The movie doesn't follow the orginal story line, but it doesn't explore anything new. The Tom Holland version of Spiderman adds new story lines to the old ones, a contiuation to a certain extent, but it works. The Tobie Mcguire and Tom Holland versions both were trying to make their own costumes but this version, he just came out with a full fledged Spidey suit, out of no where. Sorry, this version was really hard to watch.

One word for this movie, BORING 😴 ! The casting was all wrong, not only did Naomi not look like Whitney, but she could not embody Whitney. I have seen Transgender Women performers give a more believable performance of Whitney than Naomi did. I don't know why they kept using Naomi's voice, when she should have been lip syncing Whitney's voice. The script was lousy, and it did not keep me engaged. I'm glad I didnt pay to go to movies to see this, and watched on Netflix. I bearly watched it, it was so boring, and the movie jumped all over the place, and never told you nothing new. You are better off watching a documentary about Whitney instead of this fluff. Angela Bassett studied Tina Turner and embody her on the big screen. Naomi didn't bother to study Whitney and it shows. People must have gotten paid for those five star reviews. This movie was so bad, I had to watched a bunch of Whitney videos to clean my throat of the bad taste in my mouth, that this movie left behind. I love Whitney, but not this movie.

Badly written scripts, poor acting, and the casting director needs to read the books first before casting. The actress who plays Clary, sounds like a whining rich kid, Jace's character acts like he doesn't no what he is doing most of time, and Alec is a little too brooding but closer to the book's character. They got Magnus and Simon's character right but everybody else could use a serious re-write. Sometimes the show is just down right boring not to mention that they did some serious changes to the original story line, like Camille did not sire Simon, Raphael did, and if I tell you anymore, I will spoil the books for you. If you think I'm being harsh, please read the books, including the prequel The Infernal Devices. You will not be disappointed, but you will wonder why the show's writers changed some of the storyline. Anytime a book has more action than a tv show that is definitely a problem. You couldn't put a cat in the show? Church the cat was in every book. Read the books, then watch the show and give an honest review and see how many stars you would put up, after they butchered one of your favorite books.

Slow and boring start, very confusing with past and present scenes, needs better character development and it needs to be more fluid in the storyline. It could have been a great show, with better writing and direction. I watched the whole first season and still can't tell you what it is all about, hopefully season 2 will explain a few things. The past scenes were really confusing because random dead people kept popping up and they left it up to the audience to figure out what happened in the past and present. They had a bunch of different storylines going on at one time, but it took a very long time to connect them, I almost stopped watching from boredom. There are scenes that are not boring, so that's why I kept on watching. Please pick up the pace in season 2, do more explanations of who each character is and how they got to the battle, and why the princess is important.

This is an extremely boring show, if you like watching paint dry, then this is the show for you. I'm still trying to figure out how it got four seasons and why Netflix would recommend this show to me. In all fairness, I watched more than one episode hoping the writing would get better, and it didn't. This show had all the right ingredients but the writing is bad, each episode moves along very choppy and disconnected, and some of the acting could use work. The show reminds me of Gilmore Girls, Felicity, Ghost Whisperer and Touched by an Angel, it has that type of feel to it, however all of these shows I just mentioned had way better writing and better acting, and there definitely was a better flow or rhythm to each episode. Good Witch lacks a rhythm, so it makes it hard to get into the show or care about the characters. The show is considered a comedy, but the only thing comical about the show is the mayor, she is the only one who breathes life into the show. It's really a shame too, the show is set in a very picturesque town, they have great backdrops, some excellent well known actors, but they have the most boring writing, I have ever seen on a television show. I know it is on the Hallmark channel, but no excuses, I have seen other shows and movies on the Hallmark channel and they had great writing. So if you want to be bored, or you just want to hear white noise in the background, this is the show for you.
