There is a reason Walk Talk is one of my favorite bands and their debut album demonstrates that brilliantly. Mayteana Morales and David Bailis, along with the rest of the band, create powerful and inspiring beats that transcend genre. This originality and creativity is appreciated by the listener looking for something different in an overly saturated music scene. Every song captures the listener's imagination, although Kick Back is my personal favorite. Further, the album inspires one to create and that is the highest praise one can give to any creative work. "Hello, Hello" deserves widespread recognition and praise. Hopefully, in the near future, Walk Talk releases a second album. If their debut album is any indication, the band is just getting started in transforming, and revolutionizing, how one thinks about genre and music.
