If you liked Ronald Reagan, then you’ll probably like this movie. The opposite is true as well.
The movie is well done for the most part, even though it painted with a broad brush. Quaid and Miller were great. Jon Voight did well as a fictional KGB spy / narrator, although, I did not like the obviously contrived storytelling device.
There was so much Real history available. They touched it all , but not enough of any of it.
It came off as a film you’d expect to find at the Reagan Presidential Library.
But, if you want your story told your way, you have to tell it yourself, and not let your adversaries make you out to be something you’re not.
