I am not sure how well the writers followed the true history of events, but if they did, I am amazed about the strength these ladies had and the trail they blazed for the rest of us. I am a little disappointed that so much was spent on Eleanor Roosevelt relationship with a woman because this woman was truly a force to be reckoned with. I am a Republican and did not a very high opinion of Barack and Michelle Obama until I watched this series. I have a different mindset now. Betty Ford, I love. She was a pioneer. Thank you for this series. I have had my own glass ceilings to push through and I admire the fact that my ability to accomplish all I have done is probably because of what these ladies believed in and worked towards during a time they had the ability to encourage change. Some folks have complained about Viola Davis. I am frankly a Viola Davis fan so I loved her. I can understand the opinions but when you look past things, she actually did a pretty good job. I am sure Michelle Obama is not the best person to try to impersonate but I think she did okay. I had to look twice at some of the actors because the makeup was great. Gillian Anderson was phenomenal. I would love to see more shows like this.
