An absolutely fantastic film, even better than the stage production, which I've seen twice, including the original London production with Brian Blessed, Elaine Paige, Sarah Brightman, Wayne Sleep and Bonnie Langford.
This film adaptation was a creative and original interpretation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's fabulous music. There's not a single scene nor single 'Cat' that's not portrayed to perfection. The singing was glorious. The costume's were exquisite. And the CGI was superb. It was a captivating and enthralling experience from beginning to end.
I saw in the cinema the day it was released and immediately ordered the DVD, which I've now watched twice.
