I see other reviews about the great chemistry and plot. I really didn't get that. I didn't sense any chemistry, at all. The plot didn't have much depth. The acting was good, but otherwise the show was kinda depressing. There was very little humor. I wanted to like this and was looking forward to it. I watched all 8 episodes waiting for it to get better. The very last episode was decent, but I wish I could get the time back to spend on something else.

Good movie, funny, action, tugs on the heart strings. Well written, great acting.

The book series is my favorite fictional series of all time. The show seems to stay fairly true to the books. There are some differences, but it holds with the overall story and feel. The acting is good, the actors are well cast, and the effects are pretty good.
