I'm a fan of Death in Paradise, particularly Ben Miller as Di Poole but this very poor copy of the original is really a waste of audience's time. I particularly like Australian thrillers and cop shows but wonderful scenery and plenty of sunshine doesn't compensate for poor acting, terrible script and incompetent directing. I don't know the lead actress and haven't seen her in anything else at all so sorry to be so negative if this is her having an off series, but really, it was just terrible. Please BBC don't waste any more of your licence payers' money on this very poor series. So sorry for all the cast but this series is a bomb. (UK viewer).

I like Sally Lindsay, very good in Mdm Blanc too. This drama could be a wise warning on what not to do when holidaying alone.
