The film is based on the life of 12th failed IPS officer Manoj Sharma, which is made under the direction of Vidhu Vinod Chopra. In the film, Vikrant Massey is playing the role of IPS Manoj Sharma.film also stars Medha Shankar, Anant V Joshi and Vikas Divyakirti. The film shows the struggle and inspirational journey of Manoj Sharma from failing in 12th to becoming an IPS. In my view, the film has been shown in the two angles. A boy from a poor family from a backward area who fails in 12th but the turning point in his life comes when he meets a DSP and he understands that education is the only means by which he can change his life and the lives of everyone associated with him. Manoj works hard and passes the 12th exam again next year, that too without cheating.Manoj leaves for the city with the dream of becoming a DSP. To achieve his dream, he works from cleaning dirty toilets to working in flour mill .He works day and night to achieve his dream. Even after facing failure again and again, he does not give up and finally achieves his dream. The movie have also tried to show some other facts of the society, such as powerful people have always oppressed those weaker than them.A person can talk about honesty and morality only when his stomach is full. A hungry person does not see any difference between right and wrong. He only cares about satisfying his stomach, no matter how it is satisfied.Manoj wants to pass 12th by any means so that he can get a job as a peon and can feed his family. Secondly, the film depicts the love story of Manoj and Shraddha. Shraddha, a girl from an educated rich family, loves Manoj very much, Despite knowing how poor Manoj is, neither does he have a roof to live in nor any job, an attempt has been made to give a big message through the film that one should look at the qualities of people and not their wealth. While there are people in the society like Jyoti Maurya who leaves her husband after becoming SDM,There are people like Shraddha who want to marry Manoj even after becoming an IRS officer, whether Manoj passes the UPSC exam or not. The budget of the film was 20 crores .The film has won a total of 5 awards so far and this film is getting a lot of love from the audience. I love it ❤️❤️❤️
