I realize this is based on a source material, which they didn't want to deviate (too much) from, but all the same- if you're going to paint the winning side as the side of evil, can you blame viewers for not enjoying the show? There wasn't enough nuance here to make a "shades of gray on good and evil" message convincing. The heavy-handed gaslighting from Menelaus and Agamemnon went from annoying to boring to exhausting by the end. I enjoyed the acting from Odysseus's character, and a few other points of the show, but overall I would never watch this again.
