Another Coben adaptation where the final two episodes leave you mildly cross with yourself for sitting through and investing in the previous six.
James Nesbitt, Richard Armitage and Youssef Kerkour do all of the heavy lifting performance wise. Everyone else on screen is a one dimensional cliche - and the fact that the lead character ‘ran away and started a new life with a new identity’ by moving what seems to be only about half an hour’s drive away from her previous place of work just makes the entire thing ridiculous. Watchable in parts, but overall pretty silly with too many plot holes or inconsistencies to be truly gripping. I challenge you to find one character that you’re still invested in enough to care what happens to them by the end…
