There were countless plot-holes despite there being no plot at all. The movie refuses to divulge any information about why the Civil War was occurring, possibly to avoid political bias. Yet this left the movie so empty it was painful. Despite not having a coherent plot, there were multiple absurdities that just bring you out of your immersion in the film. I kept thinking there would be some sort of inevitable cohesion to the storyline, but any supposed build-up in the movie turned out to be irrelevant in the end.
