Cats had some great moments with wonderful actors, singers and dancers. Unfortunately, special effects upstaged way too much of this--especially the dancing. I wanted to see human beings (like cats) dance. My concentration was way too often broken by computer generated movement which human beings could not have accomplished. When I want to see pixels dance I'll watch an animated film. I only wish I could have seen more of Skimbleshanks' magnificent tap dance, and had time to applaud before Macavity whisked him away.
