Just amazing!!! I get so excited to watch each and every episode!!!! It’s just Soooooooo good to finally see “the greatest story ever told” come to life on screen, and to get to know the characters in such a real and new way. Praying as this continues that it will continue to reach many!!!!!!!

I was so bummed overall. I watched the Downton series twice and really loved it, but the movie seemed to lack any real storyline. The focus on Thomas and his love life, was way overdone, and uncomfortable. In fact it was only his romantic scenes from the series that I would fast forward through or warn friends of before recommending. It seemed like the movie was made to push an agenda in 2019, (like so many Hollywood films) which takes away from the beauty of going back into this period. I feel like it was a lot of “tying up loose ends” but that was all basically done in the series, so I was hopeful for some new adventure. The cinematography was beautiful as always, the music as well. And it was fun to see all the characters again, but... I probably can’t give it a thumbs up overall.
