I watched one episode and I was so disappointed by the end of it that I won't watch anymore. There is too much that deviates from the book. Pretty major events happened in that first episode that change everything that happened in the book from that point on.

I thought it was great! I want to see it again to pick up on all the nostalgic references I might have missed. You need to have some knowledge of the Manson Family to really get into the story though.
