Honestly, for a movie based on an Indie game franchise it kinda did what it set out to do, FnaF has always been Horror with a side of comedy and deep lore. The movie doesn't go above or beyond like some other titles, but it never wanted to, it wanted to satisify the fans. After viewing I just have to say this, the major lack of gore IMO is fine, as this is a franchise frequented by the younger generations, being the kind of entry game for younger horror fans, the changes in the story/lore are fine, as its hard to write a good story around just being a security guard at freddy's, the potential for a sequel is also neat. I went in expecting a FnaF movie, and with ad and scam fatigue I was worried initially, but honestly, I feel like I got what I was looking for, and all I have to say is this...
"The FnaF community wanted a movie, and they got a movie, and honestly, the movie was worthy of a 4.5/5"
