An incredible journey into the sad and devastating circumstances which psychologically break a person who wanted to be a good person. A story of how the unrelenting evilness of the world envelops and snuffs out any remaining goodness in a person’s heart. Cinematography, music and storyline is outstanding. Easily the best film of the year. Joaquin Phoenix is beyond himself and deserves the Academy nod. Outstanding. Warning: Not a kid’s film and not a superhero film.
