I'm not saying this book was bad but it felt like twilight all over again. I'm the type of person who finishes the whole book, which is why I keep reading. Another reason I keep reading was the references, that were funny and I actually understood them. I usually never understand the references. I finished the first book and it was okay, but I had the second on hand and decided to read it. I do not regret my decision. The second book was amazing and I absolutely loved it. it was hilarious, and I was laughing almost the whole way through. Thank god there was the second love interest. The second love interest is funny, enemies to lovers, sarcastic, and hot, think Cardan Greenbriar (The Cruel Prince), but no tail, less drinking, and a lot of suits. I'm not gonna spoil it in case you haven't read it but just get through the first book for the sake of the second book.
