Just got back from watching this movie, I do not understand the reviews, or maybe people do not have a mind of their own? They see the negative critic reviews and think it is a bad movie. When in fact this movie was better than Apocalypse, The Last Stand and on par with First Class. Great ending, fantastic CGI graphics, and good story wrap up. Definitely recommend if you are a X-Men fan. This movie is the closest thing I have seen to the Dark Phoenix Saga via the comics. It drew elements from the original story much more accurate than any version before. Do not listen to the negative reviews. This movie is good!

I believe I speak for many others when I say that so many of the negative reviews were just outright ignorant and plain wrong. While this movie could arguably be compared to a soap opera, it is so much more than just a tear-jerking film. The truth is, the very fact that this movie has the ability to provoke tears just exemplifies how very true the meaning of this film is. Whether we like to believe it or not, tragedy has defined the lives of so many. Every family, every person has experienced loss in some way. Our lives are but an intricate story of tragedy, love, and everything in between. I can honestly say I have never seen a film portray this realistic story of humankind so perfectly. Raw emotions, meaningful dialogue, stellar acting, impressive directing, and the portrayal of real life problems all tied together in “Life Itself” in order to provoke thoughts and emotions within viewers. Throughout the film, one will feel compelled to recollect their own experiences and will ultimately be reminded of the reality that is life itself. Bravo to the producer, the screenwriters, the actors, and everyone working behind the scenes to bring this film to life. Thank you for keeping the beauty in cinema by creating a piece of work that really makes you feel something. I encourage you all to say to hell with the negative reviews & watch this film with an open mind and equally, an open heart.
