It's a good attempt to use a world known madman and maniac as an example of self-realization.. I can hardly believe that he was capable of confession and regret, so I take it as an abstraction.. then, yes.. it's a good movie that suggests all to have a closer look to what we really are, how wrong we may be, and how grieve our situation truly is.. I am not taking this film for historical facts, or some sort of justification for Nazi's crime, but personal responsibility for all what we do in life. If it matters, acting, costumes and script are well-written
