I find the character development lacking. There was more description in the food than anything else. And the story was underwhelming. I feel like a topic couldn’t be picked and dedicated to. And the ending picked up, I was hoping for a twist at the end, but it was a very predictable book. And at the end it felt like the characters weren’t really going anywhere. The last chapter did not need to be added in.
