Season one was fun in a nostalgic way. Season two went off the rails. Season three continues that. The only scenes I like are the Daniel -Johnny slowly learning to get along. Scenes with the kids fighting are just over the top silly. Maybe all this dojo rivalry to the death stuff is an homage to Hong Kong Kung Fu movies like the Bruce Lee ones of that era. But it just seems ridiculous in today’s Valley. It’s great to see all these characters and actors from the first couple of movies. And Kreese is wonderfully menacing. But the plot is silly. Season 4 Update: Same. I like the adult stuff, but the kids is just silly.. In all fairness, everything but the first movie was a little corny and over the top. Still, good to see Thomas Ian Griffith again.
