I still consider Die Hard (1988) to be the greatest action thriller of all time, but Speed comes close and it's nearly as great as Die Hard. I believe this is the oldest movie I've seen of Keanu Reeves way before his role in The Matrix and John Wick. This is a very intense movie that keeps you at the edge of your seat from start to finish, just like Die Hard. Jeff Daniels also stars in this movie, my most watched movie of him in 1994 was Dumb and Dumber, but this movie he is in a more serious role. Also a big fan of Sandra Bullock and she has been in lots of great movies in the 90s. The movie is now 30 years old and it's still a great watch even in 2024.

If I had to compare Heat (1995) to Ocean's Eleven (2001), both movies would be in a tie. Heat is the greatest heist movie I've ever seen, and so is this movie. It's also the greatest escapism movie you can watch. If you ever dream of having the perfect crew, a team of loyal career criminals to pull off a highly profitable heist, this movie is it! This isn't some crappy low budget crime movie with a bunch of actors nobody cares about. People were obsessed with this movie in 2001 and are STILL in love with it in 2024. Nearly all cast members in this movie are likeable and well known from older movies. I've watched other heist movies like The Italian Job (2003) and The Town (2010), Heat (1995) is at the top of my list of great heist movies, Ocean's Eleven is right beside it in a tie. Highly recommended

Watching this movie again 20 years later, I was only in preschool when it released. It's a pretty good romance drama movie with a great cast. I know all of them, Julia Roberts (Ocean's Eleven), Jude Law (Road to Perdition), Natalie Portman (Star Wars), and Clive Owen (The Bourne Identity). It's just a story of 4 people who cannot seem to remain loyal to one another and decide to cheat. I think it's the perfect movie to watch if someone is in a bad relationship and feels confused, this movie is for you.

I did state that with some action movie trilogies, the first film is considered the best compared to the sequels, but that isn't always the case and it certainly isn't with the Bourne movies released in the 2000s. The Bourne Supremacy continues the story from the original 2002 movie and picks up in the same country we saw Jason and Marie at the end of the first film. Bourne warned his enemies to not to follow him and do not try to make contact with him, but they do, and his girlfriend Marie is killed in the process. So now he is fighting for his life, becomes an assassin again, and is seeking vengeance for the death of his girlfriend. The sequel is a bit better than the original, so I was wrong for thinking the first is the best. At least the first 3 movies are the greatest in the trilogy, it gets stale after the 4th film. You'll definitely enjoy the Supremacy

I enjoyed the sequel much more than the original 2002 Barbershop. They are both great movies and I have them both on DVD. The soundtrack is pretty good too, I like the opening credits with Black Eyed Peas. I will say that this is probably the last great movie in the trilogy, I have watched the third one and it isn't as great as the first two. Movies were much better in the 2000s and even before those days.

We got lots of great games in 2004, but if I'm being honest, Chain of Memories isn't considered a great game. The game is good though, I just don't like the combat and the use of cards instead of spamming the X button like in every other KH game. It's basically a followup to the original 2002 game and sees Sora, Donald, and Goofy make their way through Castle Oblivion, and losing their memory in the process. This is when we are introduced to Organization XIII. Sora must fight his way through each level of the castle until he reaches the top floor, whereas Riku must fight his way down into the basement. The story isn't great but it is decent, though you may find yourself getting confused because of the plot as you progress through the game. Most of the games levels are recurring from the first game, and the soundtrack is just about the same. Overall it's a pretty decent game and you should like it.

This is the greatest movie I've watched with Tom Hanks, it's up there with Catch Me If You Can (2002). I heard a lot of great things about this movie but never got a chance to watch it until 2024. It can make you feel all kinds of ways, happy, sad, and mad. But there are some hilarious moments throughout this movie, enough hilarity for me to consider it a comedy. I shook my head during some scenes where people repeatedly discriminate and belittle Forrest Gump, reminds me of what I had to go through during my years at middle school and sometimes high school. The movie has a pretty good soundtrack too, I like the scene where Forrest is in the army and the song Fortunate Son is playing in the background. Great movie and you should see it, it's still relevant even in today's world. It encourages people, especially those who may seem to have learning challenges, to push their boundaries and show everybody what they are capable of. I had absolutely no clue that Haley Joel Osment, who many may know from the video game series Kingdom Hearts, was cast in this movie until seeing the credits.

I enjoyed watching Idris Elba as Stringer Bell in The Wire, also enjoyed some of Taraji's movies. They are both great in this psychological thriller, I was only 12 when this movie released but finally got a chance to watch it in 2024. Idris Elba is one of the greatest actors I've ever watched, same goes for Taraji P. who I've watched in movies like Baby Boy (2001) and Hustle & Flow (2005).

Of all the movies I have seen from Quentin Tarantino, I consider this film to be his best. It's 2024 and this movie is 30 years old and I'm watching it again because of how great it is. The movie is the oldest I have seen from Both Uma Thurman and Ving Rhames. I enjoyed watching Kill Bill 1 and 2, Uma has collaborated with John Travolta in other films like Be Cool (2005), Travolta has been in a few not so successful movies but his performance is great in Pulp Fiction. The same goes for Bruce Willis, one of his greatest films is Die Hard (1988), this movie is also another one of his greatest. And Samuel L. Jackson is one of my favorite actors as well, from Coming to America (1988) to Changing Lanes (2002). His acting skills are so good it doesn't even feel like he is acting, anytime I watch him in a scene it feels so real and it feels like I'm actually there, he is like Denzel Washington. I have watched other movies directed by Tarantino like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), yes his films seem a little unconventional but in a good way. You'll enjoy Pulp Fiction if you're into crime movies. Great soundtrack too!

A hilarious raunchy comedy from some great actors. I've enjoyed watching Cuba Gooding Jr. in his more serious roles like Boyz N the Hood (1991), but even in his comedic roles he is funny. I remember Horatio Sanz from his brief scene in Road Trip (2000), another comedy movie with some sexual jokes here and there. I actually have Boat Trip on DVD and watched it numerous times in the past. You'll like this movie if you're into these kinds of silly comedies.
