It is by all means one of the best business-application books I have come across and used in my graduate teaching of Business Models for Decision-Making. Written in an easy-to-follow language, this book takes a modeling approach to provide extensive treatment of the basic approaches in quantitative methods and focuses on the managerial applications of these techniques, making it easy to understand even for learners with little math backgrounds. An engaging and reader-friendly writing approach results in a clear presentation that includes all of the relevant assumptions and mathematical specifics. Probability principles and applications, decision models and decision trees, regression models, forecasting, inventory control models, linear programming modeling applications and computer analyses, network models, project management, simulation modeling, and other topics are covered in the chapters.
