This movie is preachy. The hero is a qualified doctor who is stepping into specialisation but is a loser. In fact all the men in the movie are either liars, losers, lame, and/or lack a backbone. This movie is the long delayed answer by women for the chauvinistic but hit Pyaar Ka Punchnama series. It seems if a girl goes out with a boy on his bike and puts her head on his shoulder, sits in dark sleazy places with the guy and exchanges a kiss all this while being committed to another guy means nothing and the guy shouldn't be disappointed if the girl then gets engaged and married to another guy. I guess the director and script writers are saying that commitment and character don't apply to girls these days. The only sensible part I found is the story of the young minor girl who is cheated by the male protagonist's hero. She also packs a punch with her performance and you get drawn to her problem and root for her to survive. And her sugar daddy is the kind of lying, irresponsible, characterless moron that some men actually are, in real life. In fact almost all the men in the movie don't seem to have a clue while the women are mature... Take the case of the patients who visit the doctor to consult why the woman isn't getting pregnant. The woman throws a chit which tells the doctor that the reason she isn't getting pregnant is because her idiot of a husband is entering the wrong door. I heard this, what was supposed to be a joke, 25 years ago... It was cringe worthy then it is no different in this movie. I guess, this explains why the movie bombed at the box office... There is no audience for such stupid and preachy stuff.
