First movie I ever saw in theatre. I was 7! The first movie I actually saw was Master and Commander but I was not interested at that age, obviously. So I consider this the first one.
I remember going in and complaining it was a "little kids' movie." 🤣 Like for my sister, who was five. As if I wasn't a young kid myself haha. And I ended up looooving it. To this day, I am 27, and watch this movie every month. I have my own son now, who is three years old. This movie is a monument from my childhood. Now that I'm going back to college for the first time, I'm watching it tonight because it's "Nemo's FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" And that's the excitement I'm feeling at 27 going to college. I feel the same excitement. There are sooooo many emotions this movie makes me feel that are relatable to relationships and life. I love watching. I respect the message. It goes deeper for me though. It's a gem, for myself. If you haven't watched this, your own parents did something wrong. As I have too..so I won't judge. Lol. We all make mistakes as parents. Watch it! Let your kids! This is Cinema GOLD for kiddos. It had an incredible impact on my own young life and still does. :)
