At no point would a young Jewish child be allowed near a fence to talk to the German boy. The Jewish boy would have been shot before he made it to the fence. There was no play time or spare clothing or excess food for the young jewish boy. His life would have been an absolute misery and as close to hell as he could get. I recommend true documentaries in this genre or Schindlers list as movies that are close to the truth. This film isnt factual and is a work of fiction and should be treated so.
