Danny Gaughan

While this film certainly isn't on par with Rosemary's Baby, after watching it believing it would be terrible due to reviews by critics and audience alike, I was pleasantly surprised, and don't believe it deserved the lambasting it got. As a massive fan of the original film (it's my favourite horror movie), there were some great moments in this movie that paid a faithful homage to the original. Albeit, not every scene worked perfectly, some parts felt silly. The acting was mostly okay too, I loved Diane West as Minnie Castevet, and Julia Garner was as usual, on form in the main role. Overall, not the prequel I'd hoped for, but definitely not as bad as most people made it out to be.
