SPARE YOURSELF. If you are watching this movie because you read the book, don't. when I found this film I was stoked. I read the book and adored it but this movie.... absolute trash. I could understand if this was just a normal low-budget rom-com but to say this movie is based on the book is utter disrespect. I seriously believe that this was the producer's thought process; "hey I like the title 'Love & Gelato' so I'm just gonna slap that on here, place it in Italy, and do my own thing." I am an author and would be personally offended if someone made this trash and said it was based on my book.
