The show was brilliant until 2017 when set in 1952s England it seemed to shoe-horn in an ethnic minority into every single episode. Its now 2020 in the UK and I was looking for some escapeism from the pulling down of statues and Banning of certain animals on cerial boxes. The writers after 17 must have been forced to tick a lot more of those history erasing boxes... a real shame for a brilliant show.
